Does the Reclassification of Pluto Change Anything for Astrology?

Now that Pluto has been "downgraded" to dwarf-planet status, will astrologers approach it differently?

Hey, if we change the status of a rock to a "mineral formation," does that new label change anything about the essence of a rock? No. It is just a new way to classify it. Pluto hasn't changed. We have. And we will change again too. It is the discovery date of each planet, even if they are dwarf planets, that bestows their astrological significance. Pluto was discovered around the time that the sciences of psychology and nuclear physics were emerging, and therefore, Pluto signifies what is unconscious, and in some cases, destructive in the human psyche. Pluto is still a very powerful symbol of transformation and transpersonal energy, even if it is too small to be a planet.
