How do you create a birth chart? Do I need to see an astrologer to get one?

Dear Jen,
In order to create a birth chart, one must have the following information: birth date, exact birth time, and place of birth. Using these coordinates, astrologers can easily produce your birth chart. Some astrologers do this manually; most use software. I use a free service on the internet courtesy of a really cool site called "Astrolabe." If you have all your information ready, you can create one there. It might not mean much to you though unless you know how to "interpret" a chart. For a small fee Astrolabe can also send you in-depth astrological reports. I highly recommend their services unless you would rather sit down with an astrologer and talk to her face to face.
