How Does Moon in Sagittarius Get Along with Moon in Scorpio?

My moon is in Sagittarius and my boyfriend's is in Scorpio. What are the potential astrological challenges of this arrangement?

Dear Bellabee,

Someone with moon in Sagittarius would be active, talkative, and philosophical. They would have an emotional need for intellectual and philosophical conversations and a straight forward approach in the search for truth—and would, perhaps, have a need to articulate their emotions often. Someone with moon in Scorpio would be quiet and probing. They would have an emotional need to dig deep into subjects, people, or mechanics in order to find out how they work—and would most likely keep the majority of their emotions hidden unless greatly provoked. These are very different needs and will require some patience and understanding by each partner to alleviate the potential conflict between the two. However, both moon in Sagittarius and moon in Scorpio have a strong need to "be real," and both have very little capacity or patience for small talk or insincerity. This makes them very close allies in a world of superficial forces and is a level of connection that very few sign combinations have. My suggestion to both of you is to work on talking about your emotional needs in small chunks. The moon in Sagittarius will want more, the moon in Scorpio will want less.
