Yes, in some cases, people with the same sign have the best relationships because they tend to think alike. However, it is important to note that just because you have the same "sun sign" as another, it doesn't mean that your charts are anywhere near the same. That only happens when twins are born a few minutes apart. So, the degree to which two people with the same sun sign get along, also depends on how well other areas of their birth charts/psyches are in sync. It has been my personal experience that my Sagittarius girlfriends and I are extremely compatible, but that I don't always connect well with Sagittarius men unless they are very close to my age—meaning they would have some of the same planetary positions.
