VR staff gathered with some of the site’s earliest fans at the home of editor Ann Janda to celebrate the much-anticipated birth of the magazine.

With an August 15th birthday, you could say that the magazine itself is a sort of Leo—the lion who proudly roars and radiates from the heart. Happy BIRTH Day, Venus Rising… keep roaring, radiating, and inspiring our readers!
