She now practices law in Burlington, has written about wine for Eating Well Magazine, and leads Slow Food Vermont, an organization that supports local and traditional foods as well as the preservation of gathering around the table for a meal. Susan also enjoys the outdoors daily through biking, hiking, and skiing.

Kendra is currently an English Teacher at South Burlington High School in Vermont. In addition to her classroom teaching, she coordinates the Dominican Republic Education and Mentoring (DREAM) project for South Burlington high school students. She is also the acting secretary for the Vermont-Honduras chapter of Partners for the Americas. Through this partnership, she co-manages Companeros Cafe, an "equal exchange" coffee cooperative. Kendra earned an MA degree from the Bread Loaf School of English at Middlebury College and a BS degree in Secondary Education from the University of Vermont. She is an avid skier and traveler. She also enjoys the arts, cooking, and reading.

Philip is fond of pinhole photography, ceramics, and earth art but is comfortable dabbling in all media. Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Philip received his undergraduate degree in design from Iowa State University. After moving to Vermont, he continued his education and received a graduate degree in art education from Saint Michael's College.
